In packaging duty — layer pads, edge and corner protection, panels and crate walls — yes. Paper honeycomb gives high compression strength for its weight, is fully recyclable, and is exempt from ISPM-15, so it avoids the fumigation and treatment certificates timber needs for export.
What can you make from honeycomb board?
Layer pads and separators, edge and corner protectors, pallet decks, panels and complete box walls — all cut to your dimensions. Tell us the panel size and the load it carries and we specify the board thickness.
How does honeycomb board handle humidity?
It is a paper product, so it should be stored under cover like any corrugated packaging. For humid routes or long sea freight we can specify a moisture-resistant facing so the panel keeps its strength in transit.
