What is the difference between PE foam and bubble wrap?
PE (EPE) foam is a closed-cell foam cut into a fixed shape, so the product sits in a cavity that holds it in place and absorbs repeated impact over a long journey. Bubble wrap is a surface wrap for lighter, single-trip protection. For heavy, fragile or high-value items — and for anything that ships more than once — a cut foam insert is the safer choice.
How do you make a foam insert that fits our product?
Send a 2D drawing, a 3D file, or a sample of the product itself. We CNC-cut the cavity to that profile, including multi-layer trays and cut-outs for cables or accessories, and confirm the fit with a sample before production.
What foam thickness and density will my product need?
It depends on the weight of the product, how fragile it is, and the drop and vibration it will meet in transit. Give us those three things in the configurator and we specify the grade, density and wall thickness rather than asking you to guess.
